We have a fixed grip quad chair that elevates you 1,240 vertical feet to the top of Little Buck Mountain. Our Peanut rope tow in front of the lodge is perfect for the littlest people that are just learning. Our Junior platter tow serves the beginner slope and the Little Buck Fun Park. The Loup is truly an old school family mountain run by the volunteers of the Loup Loup Ski Education Foundation, a non profit 501 C3. We have 23K of groomed track set Nordic trails that take off from our parking area, with another 50K less than 5 minutes away. We have a tubing hill open on the weekends for the folks in your group that want to sit & slide. Great lesson packages, rentals and a rustic day lodge. Lose the crowd, come up to The Loup!

In 1998-99 we set the World Record for the most snow to fall in one winter anywhere on Earth - 1,140 inches. While the tremendous snowfall that Baker typically receives and the consolidated amount of challenging terrain of our area draws people to Baker, it is the community feel and friendly atmosphere that keep them coming back.
• Mt. Baker was founded in the winter of 1952-53. Duncan Howat has been the General Manager of Baker since 1968 and many of our core full-time staff have been at Baker 25 years or more.
• Mt. Baker hosts the longest running snowboarding event in the world, The Mt. Baker Legendary Banked Slalom. February 5, 6 & 7 2010 will be the 25th Banked Slalom.

Spokane State Park and operated in conjunction with the Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission. Mt. Spokane Ski & Snowboard Park is home to the Historic Vista house built in 1934. On weekends during daylight hours visitors can ski into the Vista house located near the top of Chair 1, sit by the large stone fireplace and enjoy snacks, soup, and hot or cold beverage. In 1946 the Mt.Spokane Ski club built the World's First Double Chair Lift on Mt. Spokane.

The North Cascades of Washington state, also known as "The American Alps," are the most glaciated peaks in the continental U.S. Our location in the northeast corner of this range is a unique combination of longitude, latitude and altitude, giving us some of the finest snow conditions for heli-riding available anywhere. Within our 300,000-acre permit area on the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest, we can access a vast number of runs starting at altitudes between 7,000 to 9,000 feet. The vertical drop on our designated runs ranges from 1,500 feet to 4,000 feet. The terrain is an amazing potpourri of open bowls, steep glades and excellent tree skiing surrounded by immense granite cliffs and spires.
