Hope on the Slopes, Ski & Ride for a Cure Executive Director Charlene Piercy is pleased to announce the dates of the Washington State Hope on the Slopes cancer fundraising events for winter 2013:

Mt. Spokane                February 23^rd

Stevens Pass             March 2 – 3

Crystal Mountain        March 16^th

White Pass                  March 16 – 17 10^th Anniversary!

Hope on the Slopes (HOTS) fundraising events are held at resorts and ski areas nationwide.  This year Mt. Spokane joins the very successful HOTS events held in the State of Washington at White Pass, Crystal Mountain, and Stevens Pass.  Hope on the Slopes was founded at White Pass, WA 10 years ago.  HOTS has raised over $3 million since inception.

HOTS is a fun, competitive, family-friendly event. Individuals of all ages and skills are welcome to participate. Individuals and teams of up to 15 participants compete for top fundraising and most vertical feet or continued participation on the hour awards.  Hope on the Slopes, Ski & Ride for a Cure combines fun and enjoyment on the slopes with the passion to help find a cure for cancer.

HOTS events are managed by Ski & Ride for a Cure.  Funds raised through volunteer efforts and corporate sponsorships support the mission of the American Cancer Society, and provide monetary support for their important research, patient services, and education.
